On September 23, Zhuhuashan Elementary School in Banshan Village, Liling Town, Zhuzhou City, Hunan Province, organized a special class meeting around theme of “Flying Dream”. Liu Chunyan, chairwoman of “Jinguizi Dream Foundation”, and Wu Xiangdong, chairman of Jindong Group, shared what their dreams were and how they were realized to the children and encouraged them to set big goals and make contributions to their hometown when they grow up.

     

Before the class meeting was held, Liu Chunyan (nicknamed Jinguizi) and other dream counselors collected the wishes of more than 300 students. In order to make some of the children’s wishes come true,Jinguizi specially prepared a book room and 40 “Jinguizi smart robot dolls” for the children. Chairman Wu Xiangdong donatedmultimedia teaching equipment and other materials valued RMB 250,000 in total to the school. Chi Yaoping, director of the Hope Project Department of China Youth Development Foundation, presented an honorary certificate to Wu Xiangdong on behalf of the CYDF and thanked him for his strong support for the dream foundation.

     

    It is understood that, as early as in January 2011, Jindong Group visited four poor elementary schools in Zanhuang County, Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province, with the program production team of Jinguizi, a hostess of the CCTV Children’s Channel. They brought the schools free materials to pass love and ignite the children’s dreams. When the “Jinguizi Dream Foundation” was established in December 2015, Chairman Wu Xiangdong provided RMB 1 million as seed money to the foundation.
