In recent days, continued heavy rain caused serious floods in Hunan. In order to help the people in disaster areas out of the woods and rebuild their beautiful homes as soon as possible, Jin Dong Capital decided to donate RMB 10 million to them in the hope that they can recover their normal lives early. 

 

 

Luo Yonghong, Chief Financial Officer of Jin Dong Group made the kind donation on the ceremony on behalf of the Group Chairman Mr. Wu Xiangdong. Wang Xiaoming, Party Secretary and Director of the Beijing Office of Hunan Provincial Government and Provincial Party Secretary in Beijing accepted the donation on behalf of Hunan Charity Federation.

 

Reporters on-site interviewed Mr. Wu Xiangdong, Chairman of Jindong Group online, and he said: "Although the Xiangjiao Wine Industry Co., Ltd. and YanFeng Wine of Jindong Group as well as our close partners suffered seriously in the flood of the hometown of Hunan, but compared with us the people who lost their houses and lands in the flood and hide in the tents now need more urgent help. So Jin Dong Group decided urgently to donate RMB 10 million to them to help resume production and rebuild their houses soon!"
